As of now, we are working on profiling each coin. However, before we can do so, we must know the inductance of each coin. The biggest problem we have encountered was getting the inductance accurate each time. Speed and distance also affect the accuracy of the LCD1000. In order to solve this issue, we will 3D print a ramp with a specific slot for the LCD1000, which will enable the coins to pass by the coil at the same speed and distance consistently. Afterwards, we will be able to record the inductance and program the thresholds for each coin in order for the LCD screen to read out which coin was detected.
